From the time Christie was a little girl, she has loved to sing and perform. Music was in her family and in her soul. Christie was born in California and lived there until she was 10 years old when her family moved to Colorado. When Christie was young, she and her brother and sister toured in an RV with her mom and dad as they sang up and down the West Coast as a gospel duet.
Her love for music continued to blossom as she started writing songs at 13 and completely fell in love with music. She had a little pink radio that never left her side and she listened to all types of music. She dreamed of hearing her own music on that radio one day. Christie continued to sing throughout high school, winning talent shows, singing and performing in musicals.
Christie has a wide range of musical and performing experience, including singing back up for Michael Buble' and several Christian recording artists. She has performed in major venues like the Pepsi Center and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre and overseas in Israel and the Czech Republic. Her music style and vocal abilities are across the board which keeps her versatile in an ever changing music market. She feels very blessed to have had such amazing opportunities! Her passion for music is evident when she gets on the stage where she loves to perform live and communicate through song. “Music is truly the universal language that crosses all the barriers. It touches people in ways that sometimes words cannot.”
She has felt called to use her gifts to share her faith with others. She created an album to reach out to people that needed to hear a message of forgiveness and salvation. Throughout the process, Christie chose songs that would appeal not only to the community of believers that have a relationship with Christ, but also songs that speak to the daily struggles of a lost person in need of a Savior.
Christie is very involved in her church with music. She treasures her family, and friends and all of the support they have given her over the years. She considers this opportunity to be able to sing and share her music with others as a huge blessing and gift!
